They are almost identical except for the edge where the top of the mount brakes on its mount (I borrowed the SVX mount from a friend):   Will be scratching my head over the weekend on this...

The "tang" is there to minallize the movement of an engine UNFETTERED by broken engine mounts. If it fits,,,, However the best policy is to use ONLY SUBARU FACTORY DIRECT PRODUCTS DESIGNED FOR THE SVX! That is why, I never modify, alter, or try new things with my own SVXi! BUHAWAAAHAAHAAHAAhaahaa, snort! Vodka and eggnog all over the computer!
