So, i know i've been a silent ninja on the forums, just though you might like this. I was digging through my old anime drive and found this on one of my many nights of insomnia. So yes, our car has been in an anime

Tis from Initial D: 3rd stage movie. Its there for a whole 5 seconds, but i thought it deserved some notice. Not the greatest of animes unless you know good mountain roads you get into. I used to live 20 minutes east of Albuquerque NM in the mountains, and every night I drove the downhill from the ski area to my home 3 miles away. Most scary/fun drive ever, but would never dream of doing it with the tank of the SVX compared to my sold Del Sol.

Unfortunately, I don't know of many anime series that aren't totally fantasy from the 1992-1997 time period.

If i remember correctly, there's more than one instance of a silver svx showing up in initial D, and there was also a cgi thing that featured the svx produced by an alleged animator of the series... might turn up in a search if you look hard enough
