Very glad to see you are ok. I Hope your GF is better very soon.
See if you can grab it to save some spares of it. Thats another reason I want to get another SVX. Very nice to drive and keeps you pretty safe in a accident. I feel quite nervous driving my wee SS80 Alto arround. Not much metal around ya.

thanks for all the comments. gf is out of the hospital. im going to look at the car for the first time since the accident today. maybe the insurance company will be good to me and i can salvage some of it. Dad still says im going to be amazed when i see it, when i get all of the pictures from the police report i will post them and i will take some today as well.
I'm keeping my eyes out for another on in as good a shape as that one was... and as far as those seats go...if i get the car i'll cut you a deal on them lol sorry for any typing errors or anything...typing with a broken finger is hardly what i would consider a fun passtime.

Glad to hear you are alright and managed to walk away. It hurts seeing your own car and car color in the accident
That looks like it had to have been a combined 60 mph+ impact or higher. I'm curious to see what the Toyota looks like, but as the truck sits significantly higher I imagine it just had to do with the impact point on when it connected with the SVX. Good luck with finding a new one, and hope you both make a speedy recovery.

Wow, that was quite a lick. Glad y'all weren't seriously hurt. Good luck with your search for a replacement.
From time to time I've wondered how a sunroof affects the integrity of the roof. Interesting to see where the roof structure gave away. Somebody mentioned remembering to buckle the lap belt in cars with "automatic" shoulder belts. I have to remind almost every passenger in my cars to buckle that thing, which goes to illustrate the glaring shortcoming in this "passive restraint" system. On the flip side, if this had been a 40 year old car, the steering column would probably be through the driver's seat back. dcb
