I believe Danny's car is in Lebanon, and he is/was working in Qutar.
This is a BIG project that he has planned and developed for years

Far from dead, it all takes time, lots of time

Yes as Ron mentioned, it is far from dead, everything is gathered so far and ready to be materialized. The only problem is that I need to move my @ss back home for good to be able to do it...

Still waiting for the right job offer

The manufacturer has two SVX cam cores ready to be machined and treated according to your specs.

Shoot me a PM whenever you are ready

Re: Pictures of my NEW Camshafts

If there is enough demand for a small group buy, I can always negotiate a "batch" price with them depending on their currency fluctuation compared to $$. Yes... unfortunately a fixed price is not always the case for these babies.

I sent them payment in mid May, while the $ was worth 3.18 for their currency if I still remember correctly, so I nailed them at a good price. Now it is below 3, and as the long exhausting negotiations I had with them, they agreed to cut the extra charge by half to amount to $100 per set until the exchange rate is above 3 again

You can check the details of their currency HERE

But with a batch order, I think I can get a very sweet deal

Re: Pictures of my NEW Camshafts

Just checking old threads and came across this one. Sounds like I'd be interested when a batch group sale is offered. What does "interference engine"
refer to? I think it refers to the valves not hitting the pistons if the timing belt breaks but I'm not sure what this has to do w/grind or lift on camshafts. Can someone explain?

Re: Pictures of my NEW Camshafts

An interference engine is one where the pistons can come into contact with the valves should the timing belt/chain break. In a non-interference engine, the valves would never contact the pistons. It is by engine design more than the grind of the cams.

Re: Pictures of my NEW Camshafts

If the cams are high enough lift, then the engine can become non-interference. The cams are what control how far into the cylinder the valves open. If the timing belt breaks, then the piston at TDC and the valves fully open they will be very close, but not touch on a non-interference motor. Higher lift cams, and they could come into contact, ie, you now have an interference motor.
