rear shelf speaker removal???

hi, can any advise on the best way to remove the rear shelf as i nee dto replace the speakers, upon inspection it looks very tricky, if anyone has tackled this before, advice would be welcome

As I remember, you have to remove the back seat cushion, so that you can remove the side panels. That allows you to get at the bolts for the shelf. It's not too bad if you take your time over it.

^^^What he said. Take you time, be careful, and if something feels like it's taking more force to remove than it should, stop and look for something you missed.

Well, I'm not trying to be smart for the sake of it and I trust Ahmed will forgive my sarcasm.

Genuinely, we need to reconfigure how the How To information is displayed and accessed. There is a treasure of information in the Old Lockers, but a new member might need to have a good idea in advance of which members lockers will yield actual detailed and illustrated technical how-tos.

Exactly right. Also, the forum may soon have a video document, as the rear shelf must be removed for strut replacement. Check in on the tread 'action in the Southwest' [US].
