Re: My poor SVX

Looks like he got the worst of it at least. You avoided being T-boned.

Re: My poor SVX

Ouch...But at least he took the worst of it. Looks like all you'll need is a bumper skin, maybe some of the attachment points, but he's out a door, fender, skirt... I assume his insurance will be covering it?

Edit: Looking again, it looks like your left headlight is a bit tweaked, and the hood/fender gaps don't match.

Re: My poor SVX

There are some alignment issues. I was fed up with it when I got home, I didn't take it apart yet. Guess I know what I'm doing Saturday.

He lied about it, claimed that he had a green, but I've been waiting at that red light (which is a long one) for 3 minutes, and then went. It was still green when he got out of the car. I hate liars so very much.

The officer believed me, but had to write it as we each stated it. He told me to send my insurance company's investigators to the bank right next to us and get their camera, it records the intersection. I guess I'll be getting my money eventually, but I'm going to have to jump through some hoops in order to do so.

Re: My poor SVX

Sweet! you totalled a rustang! *high five*

Looks like you only need a little tug at the radiator support and a new bumper cover. She'll be fine....And mabey this could be a good chance to supplement the body work and get the hood painted fresh too

Re: My poor SVX

Poor car, atleast you were not at fault. It looks very fixable, I have yet to deal with a insurance adjuster but odds look in your favor. Don't let them tell you its totaled either.

Re: My poor SVX

a qick tip for those in crashes. if at all, get witness phone numbers or have them stay there for the police to speak to. at the least, write down some tags of people that you think could have witnessed it. that sometimes will counter act the other persons story (lie).

Mensaf, if at all possible, can you post or email me a copy of the NJTR1 when you get it? thanks

Re: My poor SVX

Thanks guys, I'll update accordingly. The rad support is straight, I have to take a look at what's causing that main area of misalignment tomorrow when there's daylight. Guess I won't be picking up those 5spd parts. Oh well.

Driving in NJ scares me so much! Good luck on getting it back together. Hopefully they won't total it!

Re: My poor SVX

Mensaf, amazing reaction time to have only done so little to your car. +50 for knowing how to drive, +100 for taking out a mustang, and +1000 after you get that video from the bank, and shove it at the other guy's insurance company
