My latest addition

Picked it up on Monday and got the windows tinted today. Black just doesnt look right without window tint I have the hood of my 92 Claret painted, just need to resand and give another shoot and it will be ready to put on.
And as promised, I said I would never take a pic of a new SVX without making sure all the wheels were on right...all 4 had to be changed this time Still have lots of work to be done on it. Needs a new windshield, have a quote of $300 installed. Which I think is excellent (no bronze tint). I need to swap rear seats with my Claret and maybe the drivers seat also. The tranny needs a flush and a cooler installed, but it runs pretty good so far.
I'll be able to make the PNW Fall Colors run in a couple of weeks...woot!

The ugly hood.

The cracked windshield.

This is so you can see the before pics. I'll take pics of the progress as I go. I work kind of slow, so dont expect to much right away.

Out of all the two-tones, I'll say yellow looks the best, but Ebony is the true best color!

Ebony with no spoiler....very nice. Spoilerless ftw. Ebony ftw. ftw ftw.
And black isnt a color...It's a lifestyle. Just think of how many hours you'll spend with your new car, trying to keep it clean

Uh, I grabbed that one before I picked up the Ebony. I'm pulling the engine out of the Claret, resealing it and putting it in the Teal.

NOTHING is as pretty as a clean, black car!
There's a 90's T-bird S/C here in my town that's quadruple black. That is, black car, black interior, black windows, and black wheels with polished lips. To see it, it looks like a sinister black wedge, sounds like one too, what with the S/C whine.
IMHO the T-bird s/c is one of the very few rivals for the SVX in the looks dept.
well at least among "normal" cars

So very weird that you said that, I've heard that sentiment various times - and I myself was quite taken with the SC in the 90's

Maybe its the fact that that car too was to big on the outside, to small on the inside - screamed performance - but could be eaten alive by a modern Accord
