SVX invite cards

I keep an ultra-fine black Sharpie permanent marker in my car for this purpose. Does a great job, dries instantly and is waterproof

You saw the 4x6" card I came up with, with nothing on the back except for the SVXWN logo, leaving space to write a small note or a number, etc.

Here is the 2-sided business card version of that same card:

BACK

I think this is my last design input on this. Not sure what I will actually do, but probably try both versions. I may check with Staples as they do something very similar

That's it! That's the exact design idea I was trying to do a mock-up of but didn't have the resources here at work.

Business card size.

Full color photo of an SVX on the front. The closeup wheel is pretty cool but IMO, probably a full-car shot. The text "Nice car!" or "Nice SVX!" in big bold letters (maybe slightly bigger than John has it). Maybe some other minimal info (obviously not John's info as this is for everybody), or maybe just leave it at Nice Car and leave the details to the back of the card.

The logo and nearly the exact write-up John has on the back. White background with enough space at the bottom to write your name and ID if you want (and have waterproof fine-tip Sharpie).

The best combo of all the ideas presented so far, IMO.

Something like this. I am not putting another photo up, but rather an attachment.

Whatever car is used, there has to be sufficient contrast and a simple darker background to allow your text to show up. I tried using this one of my old pearlie to see how it would look.

The color from the first year...
The grille from the last year...
The clear corners representing the international community.

Put all the information on the back

I'll be watching to see if a network card gets put together. Until then, I've taken everything I read here, and came up with one I like. I've scaled it to both postcard and business card sizes with 2 slightly different fronts and the info on the back. The beauty of design programs, I can change it whenever I want. I have a laminater, so they'll be waterproof! (handy here in the Northwest LOL) And I'll take more pics of my car to get one with less shadow...need an overcast day with no rain I'm sure you, my proofreaders, will let me know if there is a typo!

I like the design, but imo, you should leave the car in color. The fact that they're not in color is throwing me off. Im not putting the design down in any way, just an opinion.

Ya, I know, the color would look good, but I need a better pic for that. In this one, color shows up all my car's dings etc. And it is a Ebony Pearl, which seems to really show the little imperfections. Especially in the bright sun

So that we don't play favorites with colors, how about one that is never seen in the US, but loved all the same, and is representative of the world community?

I'm not trying to be picky, but can we eliminate the word "just"? It's almost as cliche' as "quick question".

"You just got spotted by..." to "You've been spotted by..."

"Just wanted to invite you to the..." to... well, something else.

I'm no English major, but I think it would be a nice improvement to the cards, which show great promise otherwise.
