Sorry, I've been to your state. Got there in less than 24 hours in a box truck full of paper so in an SVX it shouldn't take more than an extra day regardless of where it is at in N. America barring N. Canada and Alaska

I dont mind planning an across the country thing, I just wanna know how many people would be interested. I dont mind picking a date finding hotels that will hopefully give us a discount rate for being in a large group. Taking peoples suggestions on where to hit etc... I just wanna know if I do all this leg work how many people are interested for the whole trip, part of the trip, what would be the best time of year? Etc...

Part of the reason we were hoping to have it more centrally located was so that a) we could get the maximum number of SVXi in one place at the same time and b) those of us from the East could finally meet those of you from the West, and vice versa. The "rolling meet", although a novel idea, would result in several mini-meets.

I would agree. It would be an interesting thing to do some other time, but I think for the 15th, a central location would be best.

If high attendance is your priority then technically you'd want to hold the meet where most SVX's are located, wouldn't you? Are most of them located in the central US?

I'm all for having as many SVX's in one place (preferably central) but I'd still be willing to drive an entire rolling meet.

I can see it now: "Washington State....home of the SVX."

It's only a matter of time

If we pick a meet location, we could then have regional "meet for the meet" rolling, growing, converging then diverging convoys for those who may be interested.

Read the whole thread, specifically post #56. Kansas has been in the running for quite a while.

EDIT: Correction, I meant post #53.

Hey i was just away for the weekend and while it favors teh west coast a little more, Pikes Peak might be a cool place for a meet

Edit: I was in Colorado for the weekend and visited Pikes Peak
