Wheel & tire size for 95 Legacy

I am in need for new tires (195/60-15)for my 95 Legacy and the wheels are getting fairly ratty looking. I am thinking of using the wheels for a set of studded snow tires my wife is insisting on.

There are a few sets of OEM wheels and tires from WRXs on ebay but they are 205/55-16s. Does anyone have any info or experience on the feasibility of this swap?

Thanks in advance.

Matt

I have a set of WRX wheels and tires on my 93 Legacy. The fit great. They are a little taller than the stock set up, but there are not any clearance problems at all.

You can usually find a set or two of these wheels on the I-Club for sale forum.

Nubs, thanks a bunch! Nice car and wheels. I hope to get a similar one when my older son is ready to "hit the road".
