Question Painting

My front bumper cover has a couple small holes in it where the previous owner had screwed in their plate. There's a couple "fixed" gouges and dings in my rear bumper cover. They look OK from 20 feet. I have no experience with getting a car painted. Is a good body shop able to repair the damage to bumper covers or would it just be a better investment to get new ones?

thanks

unless theres a split in the cover, large indentation, or waves / deformities, a bumper cover can be repaired. Ask local shops, and see what they charge to repair vs. the cost of a new cover. If I remember right, theres only a handfull of bumper covers left, and they need to be shipped from japan.
