Wheel nuts! Offset q--narrow okay?
Okay, wheel nuts, a question.
I understand that if you buy wider wheels, like 16x8, having a narrow offset, like 38mm, may still cause a problem. What about if one goes to thinner wheels? I have a chance to buy a set of 16x7 wheels (for a great price) with a 38mm offset. (5x4.5) As this brings the centerline closer to the hub, shouldn't the new wheels bolt on okay? Might I experience any other problems? Tires are 225/50/16. |
