Lightbulb check engine light

Does anyone else's check engine light always randomly comming on? Subaru says it's not a problem but something tells me thats not right because it isn't an electrical problem, i checked. Is this common?

Hey dude, you got a 92, check your own codes, the ECU stores them. Most likely the O2 sensors need to be replaced or the TPS or the knock sensors. The dealer is right that it is not too bad but it is an indication of sensors going bad. The codes can be checked. Search for the procedure on this, many posts.

ive got the same problem. happens only every so often. does punching the gas make it disappear or do you know? probably the o2 sensors, or in my case something fooling the o2 sensors.

My self diag showed both O2's as being out, but then, the final answer was the MAF Sensor. If your car is not stalling or missing badly, it's probably the O2's.
