Thumping feeling below the dead pedal
Hello all,
I think there is something loose in my front suspension. When I go over a bump I hear a rattle that seems to come from my left wheel. I can even feel a knocking/rattle/thud with left foot through the dead pedal. Has anyone experienced this? Thanks. Clarke |

Is there a difference if you are depressing the brake pedal at the time of going over bump? If there is no rattle with the pedal depressed then it would suggest a rattling brake pad.

a lot of talk has been centered around this issue lately. Several people have found several different things. Some fixed it with brake caliper bushings (no clunk when brake is depressed) some have fixed it with lower control arm bushings, some have fixed it other means. I fixed mine by replacing the inner tie rods and adjusting the steering rack. Anyway I would do a search and draw your own conclusions based on what was said.

just to let you know, you're not alone. I'm experiencing the same thing. Next week, i'll be replacing the spring seat, and the control arm bushings to see if that does the trick.
