Re: Bad news for the 92

You should post your ad now. The dealership won't even give you enough to cover the work they've done diagnosing the problem. It's worthless to them other than scrap.

ino right? just diagnosing the damn thing is costing me 295 dollars, plus the 63 dollar towing fee, I highly doubt they'd give me anything at all.

Only way to live! The world is pretty much set up to take all we can get each month. If all our resources go for interest on the house, the car, and then the credit card interst as well, we have not that much left!

Good for you.

Re: Bad news for the 92

i thought i had a headgasket failure (turned out to be a waterpump..stupid mechanic) and i found a used eg33 with average miles for around $500. $2000 would be a 40,000 miles engine or something. that's absurd.

Re: Bad news for the 92

Hey man, thats a bad situation. I honestly think that a different car might be the right way for you right now. I know that if I didn't have my civic I would have already been stranded several times. I love my SVX, but I was having problems and still might sell it. Best of luck to you is all I can say.
