Alternator male plug remove
Help!
I need a detailed explanation on removing the male plug on the left side of the alternator next to the PS tank. I have pryed and pushed and pulled on the clip. plug won't budge. Since it's plastic I don't want to break it. TIA

Thank you! I'm not used to seeing them with a clip that actually retains the plug... I would be interested in a replacement to splice in

Re: Alternator male plug remove
As long as the battery is disconnected use a flat blade screw driver to pry the clip in while you use a needle nose plier to pull on the plug to get it out

I got it out, broke the top arm to the clip. Had to solder a chewed thru wire, all is good. Dave

Re: Alternator male plug remove
It was easier to break the clip arm than a dry spaghetti stick
