Hey Kelli,

I got a blue one ... I'm picking it up tomorrow!!

But isn't it awesome passing an svx on the road, i've only seen 3 in the past 3 months. But its not the same as passing one while you're in one.

Want to see a lot of SVX's? If you're ever in the northwest, take a 30 sec. 1/4 mile drive down Jolly Road, between Steelhead Lane and Butler Hill Road.

It's must be nice to live on Jolly Road, especially this time of year.

I noticed one SVX from afar at a dealership in Vermont about eight years ago, and saw another westbound on U.S. 64 near Murphy, N.C., a couple of years back. Aside from mine, that's it.

Subarus aren't popular here, but Foresters and Outbacks seem to be catching on in this immediate area.

There are two or three complete sections of car ads in the Atlanta weekend papers, and not a single spot for Subaru.

I would think in georgia you guys have a little less use for an AWD vehicle. Up here i see subaru's everyday, it's the svx's that are rare.

My then-wife and I "discovered" Subaru when we went looking for a 4-wheel drive vehicle for all-weather access to a little off-the-beaten-path place we'd bought here in the hills. We test-drove a Ford Bronco II (hated it) then decided on a new 1986 Suby GL wagon with a five speed, air, cruise, white-spoke "Brat" wheels, an engine skid plate, and On-Demand 4WD, and I've been a Subaru nut ever since. But down here, I'm one of very few.
