Hello,

this is Fire Marshal Bill, I would like to bring to light the fact that this flame is starting to get out of controll, if I need to send an engine crew over here to put it out the rate is $600 an hour with a 3 hour minimum, plus all fines asociated with arson.

BTW, I won't argue with with any of you, it's useless, but if you ever get a chance to go to a pull it yourself junkyard then please count the chrystlers and the toyotas, then note how many parts on average have been pulled from each brand. BTW, is it common to go 380,000 miles on a chrystler engine?

To quote another member on this forum, 'meh.' No, really, I don't think this has gotten out of control. I have no problem with people endlessly debating fact or opinion.

It's when the posts become personally (you're dumb) or generally (people who drive Subarus are dumb) insulting that I'll pull it.

As long as people are just posting two-page quotes of eachother's previous posts, I don't care.

Game on.

Style, comfort, company use van of some sorts, tax write off,
but in the traditional Dayle style I can never leave well
enough alone....Oh
and it has to have "some" hp, and If I can mod it a little in
the process, all the better

Thanks Mr. Pockets. I'm glad that we can still have a discussion here in the boards that's not considered 'flame war'. I haven't seen any insulting or name calling so far in this thread. We are grown adults and hopefully we won't have to stoop to name calling to get a point across. I'm glad you cleared up what flame wars means. I agree that this is not a flame war as some have so eloquently put it.

However, you are referring to me as 'Robby' and have called me 'kid' in the past, which I view as somewhat insulting, because you're acting like you're oh so superior. I haven't done this to you. Anyway, I'll provide a retort later tonight.

Strange. I've also referred you as Mr. Rob and Mr. Chicane in the past. Do I not get some credit for that as well? I just use derivatives of people's names sometimes for fun. No insult intended. If you would like, I can refer you as Mr. <insert your last name here>. Just let me know what you want to be addressed as.

can a Chyrsler do this

I had enough trouble keeping the 5 star vans I drove for work going down the road, and I can turn the steering wheel 20 degrees in either direction without turning the van that's 40 degrees of play, and it was consistant through out all the vans I drove!

If I remember correctly thoe, a 22R becomes less reliable when you turn it on it's side. I think I read somewhere about the piston walls wearing out and cousing a knock that sets off the knock sensor cousing the van to have no power, with the only fix being a new motor.

Anyway I think the Previas are cool in their weired way. I also like all thoes other 80's Jap vans from Mitsu, Toy, and Nissan with there, um......mid engine set up and over front wheel seating. Very strange to drive and the RWD ones suck in the snow, or any loose traction surface for that matter.

It just upsets me that Subaru never made one. You would think that the boxer engine would be the perfect motor for an under floor location. Aw well.

I spent a couple weeks in Kenya and the primary mode of transport was mid engine vans slightly larger than the Previa, and seating 15 people, Toyota builds a sweet 4x4.

Siting over the front wheel was easier for me to get acustomed to than moving back to the automobile driving position, it's muck easier to drive and great for cruising arround town.

I had no idea a Previa could look so cool I don't think a Turbo Caravan could ever look that cool

Do they really call it an Emina in Ireland?
