Thanks James for the light info.
Is St Albans still accessed via a dirt road via Wisemans Ferry? I don't mind the dirt but some might not like that sort of thing. Perhaps the Blue Mtns as an alternative? Up the Bells line to Mt Vic, then east bound on the Gt Western, or vice versa. Either way there are heaps of places nice to stop, even Bilpin for an apple or three. Cheers.

I'm not sure - I would not be keen on the dirt myself.

That said, there was a great run I went on a few weeks back - up from Dural, then back of Maroota, Sackville ferry then across the Bells Line of Road and Bellbird cafe, then down through the Mitchell pass (one way...hooning!)

A nice drive, great scenery and quiet if we do it early on a Sunday morning.

Either way, I am up for something before the July gathering (who is in by the way since I have to let Vacluse House know if we want to book the area)

James

Much as I dislike Sunday drivers, I'll be in a run up the mountains somewhere, and put me down for two people for the Vacluse do.
Is it still on for the 20th July?
Arthur.

ps Shouldn't this be in the 'Meets' thread?
