SVX Model 1/43 Scale

Some assembly/painting required:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Unassembled-Suba...QQcmdZViewItem

Doesn't look to hard though, do some painting, let it dry. Do some assembling, let it dry. I actually like that better than the other models they have for sale pre-assembled i think. However, the display case of the others is nice too.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, scotch in one hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming HOOOOYA !!!!!

Significant Technical Input Registered SVX Classic SVX
The guy who had this model created, John Rowe, is a member here.

For a very short time he was offering both assembled and unassembled models from his website http://www.subarusvx.com This proved not to be advantageous from a time/labor/price standpoint.

These models are not the easiest to assemble and require a lot of preparation, Members who have bought them still have them unassembled in the box. I don't know any member who has actually completed one.

Take a look at the assembly instructions http://www.subarusvx.com/SVXInstruct.pdf.

Minimum Bid

Seems to me, when this first hit E-Bay the asking price was $65.
That's exactly why I passed it up the first time, but $20 sounds more reasonable.

AFAIK you can buy either built or unbuilt examples of the SVX diecast.
I REALLY need to get one of these & just polish the body to a mirror shine. MMMMM Chrome SVX

BTW The "Modifiers" models are 1/43 scale, so you can even find your aftermarket wheels to install.
