Cool

I know what you mean.

Your import tax is the lowest in the Known Universe. Aside from CCT and VAT, I am under the impression that you guys pay something like £150 for registration. I have just received a VRT quote on a seven year old Forester of 3,600 Euro! I would hate to even ask what they would need on a late model.

I think the SVX is very economical, for what it is. My wife would not agree. Like all women, she thinks cars should drive a week on the fumes from an oily rag blown into the petrol aperture. I used to own a Renault 5 Turbo, which consistently did 25 or 26, and about 32 on a run. The SVX does 20-22, and can do 28 on a run. This with 2 more cylinders, 2 more litres and double the weight.

Hard to complain.

Joe

BTW, my annual Road Tax is approx £966 Sterling. A wee bit more expensive than yours, I would imagine.

Plan:

Work like a dog in the UK, get an SVX or Audi A8 Quattro - blast across Europe at the rev limiter, Cassie videotaping (there are a number of roads in EVO magazine which I would love to do) - cars seem really cheap compared to here.

Reality:

OMG!! The cost of owning a car - that is incredible!!! My counsins were saying how bad it was...but nothing like that...

Whats that?? Joe wants me to borrow the SVX for some time trials around the West Coast????

Oh, with www.3rotor.com, not sure what he is up to but he threw a fortune at those cars...have driven a 13BTT and a 20BTT Cosmo.....never driven anything like the 20B!! An aftermarket option was an Esso tanker that would follow you around!
