5 speed= good, 20 speeds = better!
I think I'm going to put my 20 speed tranny in my SVX instead of my Toyota truck.
(If you really care, this is an R151F transmission from a turbo toyota pickup, a 4.7 low range reduction box, an advanced adapters dual case adapter, and a stock turbo truck's transfer case all stacked together. It is about 4 feet long with the bellhousing.) 1st gear x low x low = 46:1 We figure I can run the 1/4 mile in 1 hour. http://www.subaru-svx.net/photos/fil...ton71/7223.JPG |

I need one of thoes for my Loyal. Maybe it would compensate for the 98hp motor.

Wouldn't you have to reach into the back seat to switch between hi-low gearing?
