Nik, here's the best I could come up with.

I played Sega GT last night and noticed that I, too, have a Zero in my garage. The game says that the prototype was produced by a racing car manufacturer called 'Dohmu' and was to be Japan's first 'supercar.' Apparently they had some problems with it passing government regulations of some kind - I imagine they were safety-related.

I was unable to find any information about Dohmu online. It's possible that the Sega GT crew spelled it wrong, it was translated incorrectly, or maybe they just have knoedge of obscure Japanese prototypes that nobody else does.

The photos you presented at the beginning of thise thread are not the Zero. I suspected that the photos you showed were of a Bertone concept from the 80s, since it shares many of their trends from that time, but I found no photos on their site.

It looks like maybe there's a Renault emblem on the front of the car, but it's difficult to see it clearly. Can you tell me where you got those photos?
