75 miles so far
This car is too fast for me! I hit like 90 mph and it feels like 60 and I haven't even sorted it out yet! So far hit 120 with it, but due to the brakes being totally shot, I don't want to push it. Didn't realize that the rear top of the trunk is fiberglass, til I went to put my Magnetic Mount CB Antenna on it! I'll have to figure out how to get it to go on the car though. -mike |

Mike-
I too was disappointed to find that the trunklid would not hold a magnetic antenna. However, I found that mounting the antenna slightly off-center to the right on the back of the roof looked alright. You have to deal with seeing the antenna cable in your rear-view mirror. See you on 19 -Adam |

Hey while i've got your attention...
Do you have the wire come out of the trunk or a window or door? I was also thinking of a lip-mounted one for the trunk, but I think it will hit the roof There has to be a better way! -mike |

You could get a glass mount antenna.

Glass mounts are worthless. I've had tons of CBs and recently tried a few glass mounts and I might as well have not even hooked up the antenna!

I'm getting a K40 for the trunk, the mag mount one looks like a$$ on the roof.
