Fox Sports Exhausts

Has anyone heard of or used Fox Sports located in Germany?? They apparently have an SVX Muffler and mid-pipe. They have a video clip of the exhaust on an SVX if your interested.

Did a search but did not see anything related to this brand.

Here is their link: http://www.fox-sportauspuff.de/store...p?keywords=svx

Scheisse das ist teuer!

In other words that's expensive! $697 USD, $884 Cnd. for a muffler.

It looks like stock but in stainless. I've never heard of them.

Re: Fox Sports Exhausts

Yeah, that looks a lot like the stock muffler, don't see why someone would want to buy that. With a little bit of creativity, and a good muffler shop, I'm sure something could be fabbed up. Fortunately for me, I have a Stebro setup, so I'm good.

However, I just recently purchased a 2017 Ford Fusion Sport (AWD, 2.7L twin turbo, 6-speed auto with paddle shifters, etc), and it had a HUGE rear muffler, oriented like the one on an SVX, running between the driver and passenger side. The muffler shop said they'd never seen one that big on a passenger car, and it had 7 chambers in it. So off it went, and I got them to install a pair of round Magnaflows instead. Sounds MUCH better, and with the 93 octane tune, the Sport definitely has a Jekyl and Hyde personality.

This is a short one from the outside:

And a longer one from the inside:

The idea here is I think those round Magnaflows could be made to replace the big side-to-side rear muffler on the SVX. Maybe put them in parallel, with one side going in/out of one muffler, the other side going in/out of the other, into the stock lower valence cutouts? If my SVX didn't already have a Stebro back there, I probably would've ended up with something similar on the Subie.

These were the Magnaflows I used on the Fusion, only $69 ea from Summit:

I also used a pair of these Magnaflows on a 1998 Triumph Tiger motorcycle I have, and they turned out great. I like the fact that they're stainless, so on a dual-sport bike like the Tiger, they should last a good, long time:

Re: Fox Sports Exhausts

I love the sound of the Tiger. That's got to be the cheapest, best sounding aftermarket bike exhaust there is.
