code 11... Crank Angle Sensor

What is that all about? first got the 11 code right after my "200,000 mile Burgundy looking SVX" got a engine replacment from Japan and that has been 3 months ago... Happened again yesterday. Engine raced up a couple of times and died as Check engine light came on. I immediately checked for the code and got code 11.

Maybe something wasn't replaced from the old engine that should have been done? I think there are some things that are not compatible... Any ideas, anyone?
