- Viper 5501 Responder LC3 SuperCode SST 2-Way Remote Start System - Remote keyless/remote start - $500 alarm system
- BRAND NEW front struts/front sway bushings
- Bontrager RSB with new style end links
- Rebuilt brakes all around, with new seals, powder coated black with EBC RedStuff and new stainless steel brake lines
- JDM "Alcyone SVX" Rear applique
- JDM Clear Corners
- DDM Tuning 5k HID Kit (looks great/aimed right, good cutoff)
- Comes with solar "top-off" trickle charger, since car was not driven daily, it helps keep the car charged
- 1994 SVX ECU/TCU with Harvey's quickchange kit
- Outback 4.44 Transmission
- Perrin Lightweight (not underdriven) pulley

Major service:
- 1994 engine overhauled by PDXTuning installed - ~6k miles on rebuild with new belts/gaskets - Motor was not bad, just wanted it gone through to last another 100k+ miles.
- (within last 1k miles) New MAF, coolant temp. sensor, all injectors cleaned/rebuilt by deatschwerks, new O2 sensors

Engine Condition: Excellent/very good - NO Leaks, all new gaskets 6k miles ago. Occasional blue smoke on start due to cylinders being rehoned during rebuild, none while running.

Maintenance Records: Few - Car was purchased as a donor for 1994 motor/Outback 4.44 tranny. Have receipts for Engine rebuild.

Transmission condition: Perfect. Shifts firmly, no slipping, no noises, car will roll readily while in drive with no gas

Glass condition: 9/10. Some light scratches on a rear corner. All windows roll down, driver's side rear is a LITTLE slow. Bronze windshield!

Type of tire and remaining tread: Continental ExtremeContact DWS 245/40R17

Type of wheels: 2005 STi

Interior condition: 6/10 - All panels replaced with 1994 SVX panels, updated wood trim. Seats a bit baked from previous owner not having tint, crack in middle top of rear seat from being a bit sunbaked

Body condition: 6/10 - No wrecks, but hood/bumper/spoiler are not body colored. Misc. dings from other doors, and some minor hail damage on roof

Known defects or problems:
- A/C intermittently cuts out. Found a sensor disconnected. Sensor location will need to be found and it will need replacing. Holds refrigerant fine, and when it does work 80% of the time, it is COLD.
- HAD problem with gas pedal being inconsistent - Replaced ECU and TCU with ones from 1994 SVX and it now runs flawlessly
- Eclipse amplifier has one channel going out - Amp will need replacing
- Rotors in front warped (used cheap blanks, unfortunately)
- On occasion, during start, will puff some burnt oil - When motor was rebuilt, cylinders were re-honed. After more miles are put on car, this should go away - Not enough oil being burnt to affect oil level.
- That's it!

Comments about the car:

Hate to sell, since PDXTuning has put all of this work into the car, and it runs better than 95% of the cars out there. My Forester STi needs an engine rebuild, and I just don't have the heart to finish this project - All it really needs is paint and maybe a reupholstering to be perfect. Mechanically, it's about as good as they get. Would gladly let someone test drive the car and take it out for a spin - I think you'll be very, very happy with how it drives. The car comes with a spare alternator and a spare radiator/radiator fans, and a few other misc. spare parts, but it doesn't need them.

I would not hesitate to jump into the car and drive it cross-country. On my initial drive down in the 1994 with this motor/tranny combo, I averaged 29MPG. I want this to go to a home that will appreciate it.

Asking price: Fair condition on KBB = $3,325. I'm asking $3,200 (Engine rebuild alone cost $2,000, donor vehicle cost $2000) - Plus you get Navi, auto dimming compass mirrors, wheel/tire combo worth $1k alone, Remote Start/2 way alarm etc. etc.

so... nothing wrong with the car mechanically,
some issues with electronics
some issues with interior

what about rusts?
clear title/accident history?
what color was the car originally? why were donor body panels used?

thanks.
