Saw a chameleon colored (color changing paint from House of Kolor) SVX on Friday in Corvallis, driving northbound on Highway 99W about 4:45 PM

Re: SVX Sighting Thread

A bit slow on the posting, but while driving around Taree a week or so ago, saw a pearl/black driving out of town North.
Missed the rego, just noticed being driven by a girl.
Then, would you believe, while driving back to Taree from Port Macquarie via the north road saw the same car again heading back into Port.
No other SVX's seen up this way for a long time.
There was a silver one (I think?) for sale up at Wauchope...
Arthur.

Hows it going Arthur, I have been wondering if it was finished. Or if Heather cashed it all in and bought a swimming pool.

Harvey.

With all this heat lately, I'm almost tempted to do it myself!
Sorry about the slow posts, just so many things going on.
I got all the engine/tranny swap done and it basically all worked, but just lately I'm starting to get overheating problems and losing water.
Thought it might be a head gasket but not getting any bubbling through the radiator.
I had a bling radiator cap that was too low in pressure and allowing to boil, which would fill the overflow bottle, I then thought the overflow bottle may have a leak, and would lose a lot of the coolant but seems OK.
I'm wondering if I have a blockage somewhere in the block or radiator (wasp nest maybe?, there everywhere!) so will do a flush soon.
I still haven't fitted the thermostat and am not connected to the cabin heater, so my volume is down a bit?
Tranny was good when I put it in, good firm changes, but just lately it's been having a little flare trying to downshift from 4th gear?
Not driving too much at the moment, just too busy.
Arthur.

Re: SVX Sighting Thread

Saw a silver one with a female driver about a month ago in Corvallis, on 99W... Caught up to her but she didn't even notice there was another SVX next to her :P (I was like, 1 car back though)... On Friday my wife spotted a pearlie with big wheels by the Goodwill in Albany. (Picture of it on Facebook...)

It certainly is an SVX, I know the one you are talking about.

If you are still in the market, there is potentially one for sale in Canberra if I recall correctly, perhaps two.

Hello Countess, long time no see.

How's the little fella? Getting big now I expect?

Joe

[PS make sure you buy a good car, one that was cared for. An SVX driven into the ground will run up bills on you, no matter how tough they are ]

Re: SVX Sighting Thread

No, not in the market unfortunately, we just bought a house, and a spa *grin* much more practical than an SVX that will keep costing me money ... Think I need a Navara to fill up with stuff for my house ! In a few years, will get a SVX (unless we win the $90 million this week) and then I will buy a few, just so I always have one that runs.

Re: SVX Sighting Thread

So,

No one saw both Jordan's and my SVX driving down the F3 today? Or pass through Sydney?

No sightings?

I have seen 3 in the last week. Mine, Jordan's and the Pearly with the mags in Newcastle.

I would love to see more!
