Clutch Cable Snapped.
Ugh, my clutch cable snapped!
My question is basically, how hard is it to replace? 98' Legacy Outback tranny with a spec stage 2 spec clutch. It's 3AM and I have to get the car towed tommorow, so I'm kind of planning. I could not see jack, it was dark cold and I'm exhausted. From what I remember it did not seem to hard. I don't think I'll get it in my garage. It will have to be a (not a level at all) driveway job. |

Re: Clutch Cable Snapped.
Wait, it should be a piece of cake. It terminates right there at the fork. I should actually be able to do this, maybe even in the resturaunt parking lot where the car is located.
I need to know the exact clutch cable though. I'll post and and PM young Tom. |

Re: Clutch Cable Snapped.
To the best of my knowledge, Scoobie stopped putting mechanical clutch's in the Legacy's and Impreza's in 97... Sure you truely have a 98? Maybe from a MY98 leggy with a 97 tranny?
