Question on USDM clock spring

Wondering how many conductors are available on a USA SVX clock spring. Looking at some JDM steering wheels on ebay it looks like the JDM s/w has more functions/wiring than the USA ones do. If there are two spare conductors we may have a use for them (tap on/tap off steering wheel cruise activation). Anyone have a bad/dead one they can check?
