Re: 4eat Solenoids svx
Yes Alex that is it. It is in the same position in both types of boxs.
Alex is looking for a C solenoid/transfer valve assemble, from a JDM, UK, NZ, or AUST, VTD type AWD. The dealers in Norway want about $500Aus for a new one. If any body has one, he would appreciate it. Harvey.

Re: 4eat Solenoids svx
I have find a autotransmission from a European verson car. I get the tranny for free.
But the tranny is from a legacy 2,2atomatic. And they think its the same transmisson that came in the Svx. Can i use this solenoids from this car? I just need this solenoids. And i have try to googel it too and i find this wrote on the 4eat transmission. 4EAT This transmission was released in 1988 for use in the Subaru XT6 and Leone Touring Wagon. The bellhousing and input shaft were changed for the Subaru EJ engine, but this transmission is still in use today with only minor changes. Also, this transmission is a four speed automatic with a lock-up torque converter, not a 3 speed automatic with automatic overdrive. * Gear Ratios: 1st 2.785 2nd 1.545 3rd 1.000 4th 0.697 Rev 2.272 * Usage: 1988-1991 Subaru XT, 1990-2004 Subaru Legacy, 1992-1997 Subaru Alcyone SVX, and all Subarus 1995-Present The Ford Motor Company also uses a transmission on some Ford, Kia, Mercury, and Mazda products called the F-4EAT, which shares some similarities with the Subaru, since they are both manufactured by Jatco. The Nissan Pathfinder has also used this transmission in the past with a external transfer case attached.

Exactly as I stated, but not in accordance with your previous claims which you have never corrected.

Re: 4eat Solenoids svx
Greetings Alex,
It is a shame that you are having so much trouble, but rest assured you have friends on the network, who will help in all ways possible. The SVX solenoids can be purchased from suppliers who specialise in transmission parts, as well as Subaru dealers. You should try to find such a supplier/shop in your area. A supplier in New Zealand has advised me that they have three types in stock, all listed as parts for the SVX. These are identified by means of the coloured connecting wire, Red, yellow or green. I notice that the one pictured by Harvey is yellow. There could be different numbers on the same solenoid, as these parts are made by several different companies and a used in several makes of car. For instance, the solenoids are available from Motor Specs. Australia. If necessary, I could arrange to send you a solenoid. The cost would be approximately US$135.00, NZ$200.00. plus airmail postage. Sincerely, Trevor.
