3D models of SVX parts?

Has anyone made any 3D models in SolidWorks, Unigraphics, Catia, ProEngineer, etc. of any SVX parts, the body, or engine bay?

What I wouldn't give to have the whole car available in component form for custom work...

*fires up Catia*

I would love to make one, but that would be a massive amount of work, plus I'd need every component to measure and make accurate models...Just give me 3 or 4 years.

OK, don't screw up my words. It would be neat to have the whole thing, but any bits and pieces would be cool to have, cos we sure aren't going to get the whole thing!

Re: 3D models of SVX parts?

Can anyone provide 2D drawings at least? From there 3D models can be made. I have Solidworks

You know what would be great! That 3D scanner that Jay Lenno has. Can take a part and scan it as a 3D model and even "print" parts in plasctic or titamium ASSEMBLED AND WORKING! I'll have to find that damn link but just do a search for 3D scanner and Mr.LateNight himself and I'm sure you'll find it.

That idea is MASSIVE though. Any part can be had, and if it was plastic, or semi in the first place.

I don't know what else to say....
