Ohio meet anyone?!

Well for a very long time I have wanted to set up an Ohio meet, but my car never cooperates and always seems to be broken, BUT I will set up a meet anyways, and drive it broken or not. I finally have the time and my car is not running too horribly, and hopefully most things will be fixed in the next week or 2, SOOO...
I am thinking mid-July, probably the 15th which is on a sunday, at the Darby Creek or Alum Creek State park, most likely in the afternoon or early evening.
Let me know if you think you may be able to attend so I can get a rough estimate of how many will be able to show up.
Also let me know your thoughts on the location and I will see what I can come up with.

I'll try and see if I can get the night off, I usually work sunday evenings. If we had one sometime on a week night I wouldn't miss it, but I know that won't work for most. But I will definitely come if I get outta work.

Summers are pretty slow for us so I might be able to just leave early or something. Hopefully. I'll see what I can do, and I wanna be there.

Both locations sound decent to me. I've never been to Darby Creek, but I would pick Alum Creek over it because I think it's closer to more of the members that I know of in Ohio.

I am leaning towards alum creek mostly because there is so much to do there.
The day that we have it is flexible. I will try to work it around as many peoples schedules as possible. If you have a suggestion for a day or time, i'll take that into consideration when setting the exact date/time.
Weekdays are ok for me as well, but I picked a sunday because a lot of people have it off. However, if it looks like more people could make it on a weekday evening, that would be fine too!

Ricochet: Wish you could make it, we'll have to set up a mini-meet once you come back.

Huck: I go to cinci often. We'll have to meet up sometime.

I don't get up there often, (about 2 1/2 hours drive) but I do get up there once in a while...usually for a Kings Island trip, but I still have an uncle up there (I was Born in Cinci).
I'll probably be doing a weekday Kings Island Trip in Aug sometime...

It should be arriving as we speak at my shop. I bought it for $300 and it's a fully loaded 88. I'll join up and get pics once I get to play with it for a second.

Any updates to this? Sorry I'm getting excited about it and wanna make further plans to try to be there. My vote definitely goes for a weekday afternoon/evening if it can bring more people out. (I know this works better for me ) There also might be a little more room on a weekday. I'd bet it fills up quite a bit on weekends with swimmers and campers. I guess this is speculation. Its been a long time since I've been to alum creek.

I've been to Darby creek, it's nice too.
Alum creek I heard is great, I just haven't been there yet, but I might be able to meet during a week night or something.

I go mountain biking at alum creek, it is a nice park, but until you get used to the layout it is a bit confusing.
Looks like a weekday is sounding pretty good to most people.

How does July 18th sound to everyone? It is a Wed.
