Trouble with my new 92
Well, there is not much trouble but something is really bugging me.
The back windshield wiper will wipe but will not spray. The motor will pump though. How do i take it apart so that I can clean the nozzle and the pipes to see if it is clogged somewhere? Lwin

Use a thumb tac and jam it in the hole. Wax and other crap can often get stuck in there. This has worked well for me in the past, assuming it's not something else.

So far, that's about it. Oh and the alternator needs a kick in it's rear end. Lwin

I recommend the tac procedure as well. I love the back washer in the SVX. It has so much pressure, i can shoot the fluid up over the top of my car and make it hit the car in front of me. Comes in handy for entertainment since the closure of the Fort Pitt Bridge/Tunnel. Traffic around here sucks now.
The squirter in my cavalier never worked for teh back window. Thats cause they never ran the tubes to it from the resevuar at the factory. Yeah, GM Build quality. (I know i know... gotta mention the cav right) -Mike |

Thanks for the laugh Mike!
I just spoke to the Sewickley Car Store and got a real time blast of Picksburghese. That website GREAT!
My wife and I were living in Pittsburgh and saw a comedy show at the Comedy Bar in Station Square. The comedian spent a good portion of his act slamming the Picksburgh accent. WE DIED laughing! The comedian was none other than Rick Rockwell of "Who wants to marry a sleazy millionaire" fame!

I would NOT use a thumb tack - use a thin piece of wire. You don't want to mess up the hole - just clean it.
