But advice taken well, i would hate to have worked evey day of the week for most of my college career.

That's right on the money.

I just can't seem to pass the test to get certified. I keep forgetting to bring a marker.

I used to be a hydraulic technician on Aircraft as well... did that for 8 years, while I was in the USAF.

I make video games. Specifically, I'm an environmental artist, which means I make the environments the characters run around in.

We just released Saints Row for the 360, which we're all immensely proud of.

I work for SmartTech.... At least that's what I tell everyone.. For some reason when I state the name of my real job, it brings up an onslaught of questions beginning with a 'twisted-up raised eyebrow look/ that look u give people when describing the texture of stepping in freshly made dog poop barefoot' and a big "WHAT'S THAT?" ....

Yes, we all know you're a long time Hooters customer

You also selflessly share your knowledge by helping all of us here and we're all thankful for that!

I'm a graphic artist (and occasional copywriter and loading-dock hand), exclusively for print. It's all I've done for almost 30 years, from a solo shop to a daily newspaper, since mowing lawns in high school. Sometimes I miss mowing lawns.

I am currently still training for this position. It's alot of blood, sweat, and tears but I believe the benefits will outweigh the negatives.

In my spare time I used to make automotive seat fabric, recently changed fields and now I make truck tires.

I work as Programmer/Analyst at UCBSO (Univ. of Calif. Berkeley School of optometry) and I do programming s/w applications (imaging, waveform signal generation and also computer side h/w work and we image patients on two of our Adaptive Optics scanning laser opthalmoscopes. I love my work all the time due to many reasons, my boss is always friendly and udnerstanding (no strict work timings, but since I carpool, my timings are almost fixed), no deadlines, I can work on any project/issue I want to at any time. Since this is research work, I can try whtever I want to, makes me feel having more freedom on my work. Eventhough I wont make lots of money as the other s/w professionals do, I enjoy my work thats what I care abt .

whats the best way to say what I do ...?

I hang out in a building about 8 hours a day...
sometimes I bring my dog to work, she chills with me
too.
People come in and ask about parts for their vehicle
usually sitting in the parking lot, they hand us cash in exchange for their parts..
sometimes we just offer advice, which is free btw..
sometimes we install parts on their vehicle, afterwards
more exchange of cash is done...
when phone rings, we talk and discuss parts for more people on the other end of the line..
after we hang up, we sit in a small dark corner of the building waiting for that person to walk thru the door..
we hope too he or she has cash to exchange for parts..
sometimes man in brown truck drops off boxes.....this is
one way we get more parts to get more cash..
When we arent working on customers cars, or talking
parts, ...we something on cable on the tv, my favorites
is Get Smart, but hes not always on, rats!

Its all pretty technically and hush hush, I probably shouldnt say anymore....
