Cheapest regular (87 octane) around here on hold @ $2.119 for several days now; most stations are getting $2.23. I'm sure it can be had for <$2 on Atlanta's southside.

It stays at 2.18 regular for a while and today it drops a penny more...
When I travelled, I always saw the gas prices in VA and NJ are cheaper than WV...

Eh, Jersey has that crappy-ass 10% Ethanol crap that makes you get bad gas mileage.
Gas prices are going down because the president and his commie buddies in the white house are trying to minimize their losses in the coming election. They're going to lose Santorum no matter what, they're just trying not to lose any more valuable seats.

Why don't they raise prices now? One can only push the limit so much until the market backlashes.

And what subsidies are you talking about? I think if you check the only "subsidy" you will find is something like $25,000 (total) for some military training and it is really a credit and not a direct aid. You need to learn a few things instead of your half thought out shot gun blasts at Bush. Lee Last edited by lhopp77; 10-17-2006 at 11:49 PM. |
