you know beav, i don't see why that wouldn't work.

what you would need to setup on your end would be any computer that would be able to run windows 2000 server.

throw a network card and modem in it.

hookup the vonage box to the modem and install the remote access/vpn service that comes with windows 2000 server. make sure in your vpn settings you enable 'allow access to the internet' and then you're straight.

have your parents setup dialup/vpn access on their end and you're set.

heck you can even enable call back via analog through your vpn server so you'll be calling them versus them calling you.

could work...never tried, but i'm sure it can be done.

i could probably try it out if i get really bored.

all i'm missing is a analog modem though...may have a external lying around in one of my boxes of computer junk...
