Blame design, Blame the state..... but never blame yourself for not getting under carraige washes weekly/daily in the winter season. I do

would an air gun work or even help? did you try any heat (not blazing hot melt bushings stuff just some warmth from a propane torch)?

Matt,
A good quality air impact gun is a big help in this case. My IR has 600 ft -lb reversing torque and all it did was spin the link bolt round and round. Basically, it tore the sleeves of the bushing from the rubber material and simply spun. Even if you get the link nut off, the long bolt may not want to come out. Heat is a big help here and lot of cursing But at the end, you'll be destroying the bolt, nut and possibly both bushings. So, advance prep is the key here. Lots of PB blaster soaking, have the parts on hand, have an extra pair of hands, lots of beer is a big plus Fun ain't it? Ali

thats why you need 2 or 3 SVXs.....drive the 1st one while the second is in the garage waiting on parts and use the third for a parts car.

I'm just gonna take it to my mechanic and let him replace the bearing on the car. It'll be cheaper then buying all new bushings that with my car will have seized again long before I need to rechange a bearing.

Should be right around $100 as I have the parts. I think he charges $200 for a bearing.

Naw, Dave's coming down so I just drink beer and yell at him to go faster. I'll bet it takes just as long to put my freaking handbrake back together as it does to drop the tranny.
