Exclamation need help with tranny

ok here goes i will try and make it short! first thing that happened it began to slip i believe from 1 to 2 and it felt like 3 and 4 were fine so i read a couple forums and i decided to do a brake band adjustment so i did test drove it the slip stopped and a day later i feel that the car seems to stay in lower gears more until i accelerate then it feels like it stays in 3 and now i have no 4 also i did a hard accel and it shifted fine until it reached a gear 3 to 4 ??? and the engine reved without the tranny grabbing a gear i let go and accelerated slow and it was fine ? sorry if this was long any suggestions ?

I would loosen the band brake up by 1/2 turn and see what happens.
Also when was the tranny fluid changed last and do you have an external tranny cooler installed?

I would change the fluid and see what results you get. Fluid is cheaper that a tranny.

its only 50 bones and it splices in to the resister behind the battery to make the resistance adjustable by screw. it lets you make your shifts hard and solid or buttery smooth and not noticable. i had a high end lag at low rpms in d in 4th gear. maybe a small slip im not sure but the kit eliminated it. i keep the shifts solid and tight for no gear hunting that causes heat. it still feels good to nothing annoying. www.smallcar.com www.smallcar.com/svx/tskinstructions.htm

Nothing special, except some drivers , the tranny filter and gasket can be gotten at most auto parts stores. I would make sure it has a rubber gasket. Those cork ones are a little corkie
