Welcome to the site. You didn't mess anything up. Glad to see you post a question. If you use the search button at the top and look for threads with exhaust, you will find sound clips, and other brands of exhaust systems. They range in how they hook up to different price ranges. After seaching, if you still have some questions, post here again and we will help you as best we can. Good luck.

The only down side I can think of is if you rev the car and then let off quick some time you get a popping sound.
I mostly only hear it if I rev with the car in N and then let off I get a small popping noise.

But is no ware as bad as the pop I get if I do the same thing with my Impreza with its N1 muffler.

If you come to the Tri-State meet on Saturday you can hear mine.
The meet is in Webster Mass.

See the post in the upcoming meets forum

Another problem with the Stebro is the delay between ordering and receiving the exhaust system. Some people have had to wait over a month to get theirs.

The popping noise can be reproduced by decelerating for a few seconds and immediately happens as soon as you touch the gas again.

You'll also need a gasket for joining the center cat to the Stebro center pipe.

Welcome to the family. Suggest that you try Dayle's (MotorsportSVX) website for exhaust systems.

Mine Came with a gasket for joining the cat and center pipe. It also came with a gasket joining center and muffler. I agree with the wait. It took a few extra (3 weeks) to get mine. I had to keep calling, but it finally came.

I love the sound and I haven't heard another SVX exhaust that sounds like the Stebro. It sounds amazing, but I'm not sure if I would spend the $$ given a second chance.

Stebro

Hi Red, I had the Stebro installed at the Subaru dealer. After it was installed and was started for the first time everyone in the place got a big grin on their faces. From a standing start to about eighty mph it is great. It sounds good faster than that but we refrain from talking about it. Take care, BOBB

Thanx for the info,I do use Dayles website, which is where I recieved my other upgrades from. But I am finding it hard to find someone to install a weld/bend up kit, made 2 calls 1 1/2 months ago...still waiting for a reply.I work in automotive,a dealer...so I don't have the facilities to bend it up myself.....which is why I want to find a bolt up kit.......it's such a simple design, don't know why other companies don't have a kit available...Borla,gibson,etc......And thanx for the welcome!!
