Thomas as far as I know the 95 was the last of the box modifications, carried out. The only difference that would cause concern is that the C solenoid was changed on the 95 model on.
The 94 TZ102YP1BA has the normally open valve and the 95 TZ102YP1CA has the normally closed valve.
As the TCU needs to match the box, yours is a 94 model, the TCU will need to use the earlier TZ102YP1BA box.

Harvey.

Thumbs up Re: Price for a new gearbox

If you are looking for the gearbox John (blueji) linked to on e-bay you will not find it. The reason is we bought it :-) Thanks alot for all your help

Today I have arrange for a carrier to pick it up, they will deliver it to the workshop where our car is. Hopefully we should be running again quite soon. We will let you know when the car is back on the road.

Re: Price for a new gearbox

Just a thought, it took over 6 oil changes to clean the system after a high speed clutch failure on mine. Are you sure the place that worked on the car before made sure all the crap was out?
With hindsight I should have changed the rad but so far no probs. Luckily I have a pal who has access to free ATF....
