That comment is a little odd considering its coming from a brand new member who obviously has vision problems or would have seen that:
A) Alan doesn't drive an SVX, he has a Legacy
B) The only thing alike between an SVX and 240sx is that both have 2 doors, some windows, and 4 wheels (not that I have a problem with the 240, I like them a lot, but they look nothing like the SVX)

I don't agree with the sti or evo either. I own a 04 sti, a 02 wrx, and a 92 svx. I never mess around in the snow (unless it is a huge abandoned parking lot.) I have seen way too many people get hurt or killed doing stupid things. I havn't had a chance to drive my svx yet, i bought it with a blown tranny and my project is taking a while. There are a lot of deuches that drive sti's but not everyone.

I've owned a '96 SVX for 2 years, and I'm the current owner of an '06 WRX and I have to agree with your comments. There are alot of deuches that drive evo's & sti's, but the majority are nice folks (personally I'm always considerate to others when I'm driving and never mess around on the street).

It doesn't matter what you drive...if I'm driving by or sitting at a light and you throw eye daggers at me like I owe you something, then you are a douchebag....that's my Man Law

Well besides the very dissimilar front bumper (long vertical slits vs large squarish holes), headlight shape (flat vs angular), front grill ("waterfall" vs opening), wheels (5 twisted spokes vs standard 5 spokes), spoiler style (raised wing vs deck spoiler), roofline (invisible frame vs painted), bodyline along windows (cut-out vs flat) and body contours (fender flares and mid-line vs flat with side skirts), and the fact that the SVX has the infamous window-in-window design, I guess you're correct because both of those cars are red (although, the SVX has a black roof)...

but to each his own I suppose

agreed.

besides, we all know the SVX looks like an old-skool Eagle Talon!

i hate to say it, flip the rims around and throw on a diff spoiler and that talon does kinda look svxish... aside from the whole mega obvious window within a window and the whole wider and lower aspect... and the extra 1000 lbs

even I've mistaken them from a distance I'm sure people who don't own them could as well
