East Coasters and winter driving

Hey All, I've enjoyed reading all your posts about SVX'ing in the snowstorm.

Bringing back memories of living in rural PA and being the only one to show up at work in my 82 Subaru wagon. Even though everyone I worked with had a jeep or Ford Ranger 4x4.

Anyway: For all the fun you all are having don't forget that these cars are not invincible. AWD on pure ice is still a dangerous proposition.

Not to mention that the most dangerous element is probably other drivers i.e. big trucks, bald tires and little common sense.

Anyway, I don't want to read about any wrecked SVX's in the next day or two, OK. There are too few of them as it is.
