Free Air - Step closer to independence

Free Air, never smelled so good.

I am now debt free. Sent in a payoff to my mortgage company!

Feels damn good knowing that I don't owe anyone anything.

Now to make lots of money so that I can buy more SVX's than Earl. Watch out Earl, I'm going to catch up!

Step 1 to early retirement achieved, moving to Step 2.

Noir,

When you figure out how to grow hair on bald heads call Earl, me & Cigar Johnny. Then you will really see a cut-throat auctionand you will make Bill Gates look like a pauper.

Hey! I am not bald...I shave my head by choice! Let us not confuse people by labeling me as folically challenged. At least not yet, anyway.

Johnny (until the back of my head has a smooth shiny spot, I am only suffering from an expanding forehead)

But at least I'd be in good company if I was.

I thought you were talking about the compressed air boxes at gas stations that don't cost anything, THE WAY IT SHOULD BE.

The gas stations that install 25 or 50 cent compressed air stations....ooo man.... I've done some naughty things to those machines.

air is free, but air compressors are not. thanks for ruining it for the people that may have needed to fill up their tires, only to find that it has been vandalized. good job - keep it up, and they'll be $1 soon. very mature of you.

Exactly right!

The air used to be free because the gas station had a repair shop that already had a big compressor. An extra tire fill here and there never was even noticeable on the books.

Now the station has to buy a compressor, hose, and run a GFCI outlet. In the days of cut-throat corporate stores, the independents have to save every penny.

If you don't like it, buy your own compressor.
