center brake light?

I have '92 SVX.
Is the center, thin light panel on the trunk under the spoiler supposed to light up as a center or 3rd brake light? Mine does not. I looked in the panel and don't see an easy bulb access point, at least nothing I recognize. Although there seems to be a wire connection point.

Re: center brake light?

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe that the center light is an LED light, but don't hold me to that.

Yes, the bulbs are not replaceable.

Re: center brake light?

They are led. Mine didn't work, so I took it out to see if I could find a problem and couldn't. Found one at a pick n pull and bought it. Put it in and it worked perfectly. You should use a multimeter to confirm you have power going to the unit or not.
