Re: 5mt on the way, pre-game double checking

Just curious, is this a pro-active switch to a manual or did your auto die on you?

Re: 5mt on the way, pre-game double checking

try gearhack.com and run the vins thru and it will tell u exactly which model it came out of....

on mine they had to keep the svx rear carrier (case and lsd parts) and replace the stock gears with the new legacy parts...

PITA. but it works. and its the ****.

u might also consider changing the rear diff bushings .
good luck

This is a pro-active and because i want it switch, the car is working fine now that i've replaced the maf and adjusted the tps. The engine is a bit tired and has started burning a bit more oil than usual so I will be swapping in SMC's high compression engine while I do that swap.
