I had the springs powdercoated and now dont know which ones are front vs rear. One pair is noticeably taller in height...

Any way to distinguish? Thanks

Re: motorsport drop springs

I believe the taller ones are the rears. They should also be easier to compress.

You'll know as soon as you remove the stock ones.

Re: motorsport drop springs

I've removed the rears so I can compare...but since these are lowering springs I am not comparing apples to apples correct?

Re: motorsport drop springs

To follow up, as icing stated earlier...the taller springs are in fact the rear springs

And the front wire is thicker than the rear.

Re: motorsport drop springs

Great call with regard to having them powdercoated. The stock finish on them is awful. Mine are covered with rust, and I don't even drive my car in the winter. I love the ride comfort, and the ride height though. They're an excellent option!

Re: motorsport drop springs

That's certainly reassuring Mike, thanks! I'll keep you all posted once they are installed. Im overhauling the entire suspension, replacing everything with new OEM parts. Just got all rear suspension components powdercoated...down to the rear sway bar brackets!
