i know your frustration first hand.....
the ideal thing to do is to be patient and keep digging. you will find the problem and for your sake hopefully there is a simple solution.
last week i had a small oil leak.....this week my wallet will be $1200 lighter. ouch....very ouch.

What is costing you $1,200???? All the seals bad, and they are going to do the timing belt, water pump, and some other things?
Edit - Just read your post in the General section. Sorry to hear about your situation, we've been there in one way or the other.
