When I first got the car, I wanted to convert a 4age to a carb'd setup I actually finished making a little over 2 weeks ago. I have the Mikuni-Solex side draft individual carb setup for the 4age, but ever since getting the GT-S, it didn't make sense to do anything to the SR5 since I essentially have a car w/all those things taken care of. I don't know if I'm going to run the carb'd setup on the GT-S, but it's the best bang for buck by a long shot. I remembered an article I read a year or so ago about some guy swapping a 7mgte into his SR5, and that's where I got the idea to do the 1jz swap (lo and behold there are already a crapload of them done, but who cares). I'd have the 1jz one as a DD monster, and the other one to satisfy my Tsuchya/Initial D obsession. That's pretty much that. Oh, and here are my sidedrafts Nothing sounds quite like they do under full throttle. edit: It looks low because it is. Read the ad. The guy before me has either cut factory springs or some no name aftermarket springs on there. Definitely the first thing I'd change. Last edited by SVXtacy; 12-07-2007 at 10:46 PM. |
