Concerns about a '92

I currently own a my00 Impreza 2.5 RS. I am looking at buying a '92 SVX. I don't have to many details on the car yet, but I was hoping to get some feedback on what issues to look at when I inspect this car. I see there is a big issue with the tranny. Are there any major issues that deserve extra attention. I hope to get this car and become part of the SVX community. Thanks for help ahead of time.
